'Key' Service
Independence are chartered tax advisers and asset managers.
Our Key service is available at two different levels - the basic service is charged at £25 per month and 'Key Plus' giving individual tax advice, when you want it, charged at £45 per month.
This private client annual service at our lowest level provides a UK Tax Return with all HMRC-required schedules for investors and property owners included, and our suggested 'Best Buys' list of investments; the 'Money Tips' blog; and the 'Investors Diary'.
As chartered tax advisers, we never engage in sales activities, and never take payment from any party apart from our clients. Our advice usually leads to bespoke solutions, an 'upgrade' of your money to a private bank or stockbroker of your choice, and usually at less cost than you may be paying now.
Tax Return
Our UK Tax Return service includes assistance with investment income, gains tax, and self employment, and provides:-
- a personal checklist of the data required for your Return
- tax computation
- tax return
- and, on the Key Plus service level, call in for advice on your tax affairs whenever you want it
'Best Money Decisions' Books 1, 2 and 3 are included free
Our briefing books are made available without further charge in their ePub version for clients on the 'Key' service.
The first book explains how to upgrade your money to the services offered by private banks and stockbrokers - surprisingly, less expensive by far than buying retail products. The second provides everything you need to achieve financial independence. The third explains how to leave the legacy you want and have it achieve the most it can.
Best Buys
Our asset management team - who provide a full service to private clients on the 'Advisory' or 'Family Office' levels of service - generate a list of investment 'best buys' on your secure client website with us. The investments we select are all quoted on major exchanges. You will need to pass a short quiz to demonstrate under FSA that you understand how to use the recommendations we are making, or sign a 'sophisticated investor' statement annually.

Key Plus
For an extra £20 per month, ask for advice on any tax, financial planning or asset management topic as and when you want it. The only restriction we make is that we will not advise you on exactly what to buy or sell (for that you need the 'Advisory' service).
